I received my Fidelity 2011 reports yesterday and calculated my total return across PP and VP accounts:
25.05%
I must admit the PP helped significantly, and I also have an advantage in that I can buy company stock at a 15% discount, so this rate of return is probably not feasible for most.
What is your 2011 total portfolio rate of return?

What percentage of your portfolio is invested in your company stock?

Re: What is your 2011 total portfolio rate of return?
It was about 40% of my portfolio, but in the last year I have drawn it down to about 20% and put it into the PP. A big part of the returns are that I'm selling company stock purchased in 2009/2010 at a 35-40% premium over the purchase price. It's time to diversify and the PP gives me a great way to diversify out of being equity heavy.AdamA wrote:Congrats on the great year!Storm wrote: I received my Fidelity 2011 reports yesterday and calculated my total return across PP and VP accounts:

Sounds like good plan (good timing too).Storm wrote: It was about 40% of my portfolio, but in the last year I have drawn it down to about 20% and put it into the PP. Do you plan to draw down your ownership in company stock any further?
