Re: Swiss banks looking for US clients again

I sometimes consider a move to Ireland as an adventure, I worried that the banks would not let me open a checking account because of hassles discussed above in dealing with Yanks. I went into AIB bank on a visit last year and two bank reps said “no problem, we open accounts for Americans all the tim...

Re: 600 Members Coming Up

Ocho,

Aggressive Portfolios?

I thought those thousands would be looking to go 4x25, in line with the HBPP philosophy- and it is a lovely philosophy.

Please comment.

Thanks.

Re: 600 Members Coming Up

I notice we are approaching 1,000 members. 🇸🇧On July 12, 2017, I wrote we were at 599 members. That prompted sweetbethescrivener to sign on as #600. All hail Herman Melville! (The best short story ever)? Anyway, the time between 600 and today seems short. Is the 4x25 finding followers more quickly? ...

Re: Analyst commentary: Microsoft

Pmward, Just saw your reply. Thanks. I want MSFT for the long haul. It’s in the Roth IRA so I looking forward to the years to come. Your research outdid mine. You know your stuff. Microsoft seems to be a buy-and-forget stock but should be reviewed whenever rebalancing the 4x25. Thanks for your thoug...

Analyst commentary: Microsoft

I have a Microsoft position in the VP. Today an analyst said MSFT is overvalued and that its proper price should be in the mid 90s. MSFT closed @ 133.43, down 3.16%. MSFT seems to be quite focused and beyond the antitrust issues in the news. I am inclined to hang in there. The stock did not drop 15%...

Re: Seattle Is Dying video

We booked two nights in Seattle last week, more or less passing through. We stay one night on the way to Canada and one night awaiting a departure flight the next morning.

We booked the trip for mid-May. Should we stay in our room? I seem to have lost interest in sightseeing.

Thanks.

Re: The Permanent Supplement Regime

Mark, Currently experiencing 2 months of tendinitis from weights. Feels like the elbow joint involved, too. I’ve had this issue on and off since age 15. A suggestion asserts this injury is a collection of micro tears subsequent to the original injury. This bout of tendinitis has lasted longer than t...

"The Big Bang Theory" TV show

A thought as this show ends soon: The show has had astro-physicists Steven Hawking, Neil DeGrasse-Tyson and George Smoot, all PhDs, by the way, making cameo appearances. With the November release of "Bohemian Rhapsody," the movie about Freddie Mercury and "Queen," I note that guitarist Brian May com...
