I see a headline saying stocks are on the longest losing streak, 9 days, since 1980.
So I checked my portfolio. Looks basically unchanged from a week or two ago. Have stocks gone down much? Bonds or gold gone up?
Steady last two weeks

Re: Steady last two weeks
Duration says nothing about magnitude.
S&P may be down 9 days in a row, but -4.5% from highs.
Gold has semi-recovered after a -4% decline.
LTT's have declined the most I believe from recent highs, but recovering maybe 1/3 of losses lately.
Speaking in generalities.

I saw that headline too but when I see something like that it tells me NOT to look at my portfolio. I think masochism is something that's best kept to the bedroom.I Shrugged wrote:I see a headline saying stocks are on the longest losing streak, 9 days, since 1980.

Just from what I picked up scrolling down too far on the Fox News website where they show how the market is doing, I don't think anything dramatic really happened. They were just relatively small declines.

Yup, small is always relative.
My biceps are small in relation to my quads, although they are 19".
