University of Texas endowment now includes gold

The endowment has taken delivery of $1 billion in bullion, which represents about 5% of their total. This is the first school that I have heard doing this.

I read about them including gold in their investments back in 2007 (I think).  It looks like that was a good call.

I think part of what is pushing prices up is more and more institutional money is getting into the PM markets.
