Trading sucks

Post by LazyInvestor »

Sold my PHYS position (~5% of my PP) and told myself I'll buy IAU in few days after a small pullback. Gold is up 2% since then. So frustrating :-). Trading sucks even more than Sprott :-). I guess I'll wait few more days for a real pullback :-(

edit: ~3% up.. I guess I'll just buy stocks today so it'll be like rebalancing and not stupid market timing.. (just trying to comfort myself)... GTU would be even higher. Lousy Sprott..

When I was largely out of the gold market for a few days near the end of 2012 due to relocating my holdings, I bought GLD to hedge against a spike while I was out. I think I lost a little on the hedging, but didn't want to have to buy back in after a big rise.
