ETF Portfolio Advice [Israel]

Post by cintrapark »

Hi there

I'd love to get some feedback with respect to my ETF portfolio. I now live in Israel, however, spent most of my childhood and adult life in the UK. I have plans on returning. All my investments are traded through TD Direct Investing and are through the UK market.

Age: 39
Place of Residence: Tel Aviv, Israel
Born: London, England
Pension: 20.33% of monthly income (including employer contribution)
Tax Free employer related investment savings fund: 10% of monthly income (2.5% contributed myself and 7.5% by employer). This will mature in 4.5 years time
3 month emergency fund
Debt: None

SHARES VI PLC GLOBAL AAA-AA GOV BND UCITS: 20%
VANGUARD FUNDS PLC FTSE ALL-WORLD UCITS ETF US: 80%

I do own a property in London, although plan on selling it next year. I will add the proceeds to my investment portfolio.

You should probably ask this question at the Bogleheads website too. The BH portfolio has been doing much better than the PP.

Hi cintrapark! What are your investment goals? How important is high return or minimizing volatility? Are you looking for info regarding implement a PP, or just general portfolio advice?
Human behavior is economic behavior. The particulars may vary, but competition for limited resources remains a constant.

That's a truly global portfolio! I would be a little bot worried about the currency risk. With 80% stocks I guess the Boglehead forum would be a better fit for you.

How come you're posting on the Permanent Portfolio forum?
