Evidence the real estate market is healing

Here's a snippet about the predominance of cash buyers in real estate:

The R.E. market has not healed completely, but a trend like this should be encouraging.  When we see a maximum number of people shun mortgages in favor of paying cash for properties, we'll likely see an inflation-adjusted bottom shortly after that.  I still target another 15% haircut nationally and 2015 as the bottom, but we are at least on our way.
