reporting in a re balance by means of cash hitting the upper band

sold very little stocks (vanguard 500 mutual fund) - some of my paycheck goes to stock purchase through 401k so some gains are from contributions

bought very little bonds (juicing rate with EE bonds) - i can't bring myself to buy at 2.62 when I can get 3.5

gold was getting very close to a lower band so had to buy a significant amount (iau etf) - i already have a comfortable amount of physical so i bought some paper for convenience

here is to hoping gold has stopped it's drag on the portfolio
