That's how I set up email too. On Android, when done with an email I swipe it to archive. So there's only a few emails in my list. I like it.

What's GTD?

GTD stands for Getting Things DOne.  It is a book and a system created by David Allen.  It has become so popular that typing GTD into google yields over 3 million hits.  In one sense it is nothing more than glorified common sense, yet the system is complicated enough that people have trouble doing all the parts. 

If your brain reminded you that you need razor blades when you were at the drug store and not just when you were in your bathroom, you wouldn't need GTD.  If it was always clear that the to do "make doctor apt" means call Suzy to get the number of the great doctor she mentioned or the to do "buy car" means start by researching cars on the web, etc etc, you would not need GTD (those are obvioiusly simple examples.  Exactly what the next physical action necessary to start a task is is not always so obvious).

Complete heresy!  Surely you meant an iPhone with Siri and a great calendar/reminder app.
