Pretty interesting how close the US is to the PP already.

The severely high cash allocation in developing countries is understandable as they are likely living off lower income and cannot afford to invest in any significant way or might be saving for goods with a less developed credit market. I am interested to see Europe and US...almost shows Americans hedging for inflation with equities whereas Europe and developed Asia are predicting deflation. Inflation vs. Deflation, Stimulus vs. Austerity. Playing out with investment decisions.

Very interesting to see these charts though I am curious what they would look like if housing equity were included. My limited knowledge of Chinese tastes is that they put a really high priority on owning a home/apartment, if possible, and prices are not at all cheap over there. For Americans I suspect the biggest piece of the pie would be housing, though less so now than, say, before 2007-2008.
