What do they do when they stop producing? Do they lay off the producers and pay a small staff, or do they liquidate/merge?

I would assume that many stop producing when they run out of money and/or credit. In that case they probably just get what they can for their assets. I assume that in most cases their equity would be worthless once they ran out of money and couldn't get any more credit.smurff wrote: What do they do when they stop producing?
