A previous thread went into a discussion about the merits and practicality of full reserve banking and a bunch of people on here seem to have read stuff about the subject and given it some thought.

Since then I've wondered whether full reserve banking proposals need to focus on stability/accountability and forget about trying to prevent formation of "money-ish" debt. I had a go at writing a blog post about it:
