If there were ever such a thing as Capital stupidity such that we could deem a person too dumb to live, surely whoever is responsible for this is the poster child.
http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/03 ... suspended/
In addition to this I've just today read stories about a student who was suspended for chewing his breakfast pastry into the shape of a gun (he says he was trying to make it into a mountain), a kindergartener being suspended for making "terroristic threats" by saying she was going to shoot another student with her Hello Kitty bubble blowing gun (it's pink), and a student who was screamed at and then frisked in front of an entire class because a teacher discovered a PAPER gun that her grandfather made for her.
How do we not have a mechanism for flushing this crap out of our schools?

Homeschooling.
Homeschooling.
Homeschooling.
I am only 25 years old but the stories about what grade schools are like barely two decades later scares the hell out of me compared to the environment I vividly remember. I probably would have been suspended or arrested at least a dozen times for what I fondly remember as normal childhood hi-jinks.

Human behavior is economic behavior. The particulars may vary, but competition for limited resources remains a constant.
