HB PP conference/meeting?

Post by smurff »

Is anyone in the mood for a HB PP conference next year?  Would anyone come?

I think this forum is probably as close as we're going to get in the near future.
Q: “Do you have funny shaped balloons?”
A: “Not unless round is funny.”

We live in Vegas.  Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.  It's a good city for that kind of thing.

I was thinking about that the other day. We'll all be huddled together in a big room with Craig and MediumTex doing a panel discussion, and Paul Boyer moderating. Someone will get up and ask about a "just stock and bond" portfolio. Then we will all laugh derisively...

Thanks, Coffee.  I've never been to Vegas, but I've heard it's a great convention town.

They can ask questions like that at the Bogleheads' meeting, if they can get in. ::)

The Bogleheads hold a meeting every year in DC or Philadelphia, but they only allow some 120 or so people to attend.  (I don't know why attendance is limited to such a microscopically tiny number of interested members.)  The Bogleheads are big enough, however, to host local chapters.

Their meeting is held in Washington DC or Philadelphia to make it easier for Jack Bogle to attend.

But there are lots of convenient places in the world to hold our meeting, if we decide we want to do it.

That sounds like great fun!

And we will do that "coin check" protocol where you ask to see someone's (gold) coin and if they don't have one, they have to buy you a drink or something.

And we can have a Rick Ferri book signing.  ;)

But seriously, get Coxon, Chandler,  Cuggino to come and speak too.
