Moody's and the Glit

Post by AdamA »

Looks like Moody's just downgraded the UK's credit rating.

Wish I owned some Glits!

Is this the hip new way to say 'gilt', the way some young Filipino-Americans refer to themselves as "flip"?

These ratings agencies are so stupid.  It's staggering.

I can hear the Harriers warming up now to buzz the UK Moody's offices.

The Glit is the British version of the Gimp of "Pulp Fiction" fame.

Moody's has been building a box in its basement to hold the Glit.

i am pretty sure "Moody's and the glit" was a two hit wonder pop band during the "British invasion" in the 1960's.

This is pathetic to even ask but what happened to their bond rates after this announcement?  I'm way too lazy right now to try and find out.

It's sort of like the way reports of a viral outbreak among unicorns will often have little impact on the unicorn futures market.
