How would you do at market timing?

I found this fun online game that lets you try your hand at technical analysis market timing:

After a few minutes of playing, I realized that my record was about a 50/50 split between wins and losses. I'm sticking with the PP.  :)

Some years ago I tested something similar.

You are right, trading "by your eyes" is not profitable.

That's why I search a mechanical method of trading for my VP.

I just bought and held.  I guess I didn't understand the game at first.

I gave it a shot, but without any context, I wouldn't label it market timing just technical analysis (TA).  Screening is far more important than TA.
