It has an interesting subtitle "Preparing for Prosperity, Armageddon, and Everything in Between". Before I pay for it I was just wondering if any of you fine people had read it and had an opinion on it?
Also, any other good investment book recommendations are always welcome.

Re: Anyone read "The Investor's Manifesto" by William Bernstein?
Jake,
I read it a while back.
Bill Bernstein is a very smart guy with a great writing style, and his investment insights are always worth a read, whether or not you agree with his position. I have read most of his investing books and all have been thought provoking. His e-book The Ages of the Investor was quite good, at least for this near-retiree.
And besides, Bill was the source of my Gyroscopic Investing user name

If you're looking for something that is well-written, provocative and which still holds up over 30 years later, check out "Adam Smith's" The Money Game and Supermoney.Jake wrote: Thanks guys, it's next on the list!
Both are outstanding.

Thanks MT! Both the Bernstein book and Supermoney are available on Audible as unabridged audiobooks, so these two will be my entertainment during my hour long morning rollerblades along the beach for the coming weeks

If you are going to read Supermoney, I would read The Money Game first. Supermoney is the sequel.Jake wrote: Thanks MT!
