This domain, minus the "/forum" part. Under construction?

Post by dualstow »

I apologize if this has already been covered. On an older computer and browser, I used to make my way to this forum via crawlingroad. Now, I start typing in gy... and chrome takes me to http://gyroscopicinvesting.com/

Problem is, that page says the site is managed by Arvixe, blah blah blah, and is under construction. If I interrupt the page load and add the slash and "forum", I get here. And yes, there are various shortcuts and workarounds to get here, but
Is there any reason there is no link to the forum from http://gyroscopicinvesting.com/  ???

Thanks.

Yeah, we covered this before.

Keeping the website hidden seems to make for a better community. You generally have to follow a path of learning and understand (a "Crawling Road" of sorts) before you find this place. It's like climbing a mountain and finding a guru at the top.
Nothing I say should be construed as advice or expertise. I am only sharing opinions which may or may not be applicable in any given case.

While that sounds nice, it doesn't make a lot of sense. This forum is a good place to start learning, too. Besides, the book is coming out, and I think the forum can expose more people to the book (and vice versa).

If someone comes here looking for a get rich quick plan, as mentioned in the thread to which you linked, they'll leave soon enough.
