Blog Updates

Post by craigr »

To welcome in 2012, I have decided to join 2008 with my blog. I added in social media buttons on the top of the site and Facebook like buttons at the bottom of each post. You can also see related articles, vote on what you think about posts, follow my deeply meaningful Twitter insights and watch my YouTube Channel as well. I am so connected virtually that I now have no time to deal with reality.

Details of the changes are here:

Let me know if you see any problems with the site updates and Happy New Year once again!

Craig, thanks for sharing, it's a great idea to spread the word using the social networks. I've just "liked" the FB page.  ;)
BTW I did find another PP-related Facebook page that mentions thepermanentportfolio.com. Is this website related to your blog?

I think creating a Google+ page ?ould be another smart move, even if you just set up a basic profile with links to the blog and HB books.

I think Paul Boyer uses that page. I don't know anything about it.

Maybe a craig and MT PP-themed lunchbox.
Q: “Do you have funny shaped balloons?”
A: “Not unless round is funny.”

It will open up to reveal four dividers to separate your lunch allocation into protein, vegetables, carbs and fat. They can be moved around to rebalance your nutrition bands.

Oops. Meant to say grains.  I do not eat much grain and I just mentally put things like potatoes and grains into the carbs bin as most vegetables are low carb.

I may have to start a thread here to ask people if it is ok to keep out grains and starches from the allocation because I think they are overvalued.

Don't worry about it.  I heard that Rick Ferri who wrote All About Lunch says grain is just chewy dirt and isn't actually food.

I think the exact quote was "I don't need to 'research' grains to know that they are nutritional voodoo."
