I resolve to buy more gold bullion in the new year.

To take it easy on the Adderall and Angry Birds.
Oh you wanted PP-related resolutions?
Hmm, how about to practice thinking about investments less in general. One of the things that investors hopefully realize at some point is that at any point in time there are countless market narratives floating around, and this was the case long before you ever became interested in investing, and it will be true long after you have completely lost interest in following the markets. The key is to find a way to participate in the markets without letting it pollute your mind too much.

Totally agree, MT. But easy to forget. I suspect that this was one of the primary "liberties" that HB was seeking when he developed the PP. After all, our investments are not the primary means for wealth production for most of us (our jobs are), and they are not the primary means for living a truly fulfilling life for many (often our hobbies and interpersonal relationship are).MediumTex wrote: Hmm, how about to practice thinking about investments less in general.
