Don't use Fidelity Solo FidFolios to manage an ETF HBPP

From Reddit - not my experience, fortunately.

"Solo FidFolios places market orders {Ochotona - not limit orders which can be bad at times}.

Also, when you rebalance they sell whatever needs sold first and they wait two business days for the cash to resettle before purchasing anything.

I also found out on Friday that if one of the securities in your basket has a dividend your entire basket is locked until it settles. Check my post history for details on my nightmare of an experience if you want more details."

i showed the fidfolios in a facebook ad today for the first time .

personally i would never let anyone touch my money but me. ..no one loves it like i do

Fidelity's software is very glitchy, and their settlement time is unconscionable....I've seen things take a week or more to settle though I never figured out why. My rule with Fidelity is to keep things simple and avoid relying on fancy software features, because they are bound to fail. I ended up with a missed credit card payment because of one of their software glitches for example.

Rebalance events for the PP don't happen more than every 2-3 years, so it's not like it's a lot of work.
