Hi all
My kids are 3 and 5 and I hope to send them to private schools
So I'll be spending $20k x 2 x 13 roughly or $500k assuming no scholarships or aid
College in my country is free
How would you save this money?
If it was just a 5y horizon I'd lean towards cash or bonds, but given it's up to 15y away (and given 25% cash allocation) I'm considering a PP
Hoping that at least then I end up in 15y with more than $0 remaining...
And if things go pear shaped I can always keep working (I don't wanna lean FIRE - I want the FU money so I can pursue something more interesting but never really want to retire)
Someone on here said that the PP is a 'high yielding emergency fund' - obviously at present it doesn't appear very high yield but over 2-3y should even out
School fees in PP?

I said that, in case I need to sell almost everything for medical treatment or other disaster. Your plan is good enough. Look stuff that might give tax breaks for education. iBonds, HSA
