I was hoping for more.
Both of them held their own. Meh.

A rare play, diverting a thread that has miraculously remained on topic into a new post. A bold move, Cotton. Let's see if it works out for him.
You there, Ephialtes. May you live forever.
Re: What was the dumbest thing Biden said during the debate?
When the debate first started and Biden was sounding coherent while Trump was being a dick and interrupting I thought to myself OMG Biden is going to eat his lunch. I think that would have been the case too if he hadn't resorted to the over-the-top rhetoric of saying Trump was responsible for all the COVID deaths, doesn't care how many people die, was a racist, and eventually even a "clown". If the strategy was to bait Trump into a brawl it worked but once it got to that point I thought Trump was landing much harder punches by the end.
All in all, I would have to say that Biden seemed much more in control of his faculties than people expected so that was a major win for him all by itself. As time went on he started stammering a bit and said a few things that didn't make sense but it was nothing like some of the things I've seen in video clips.
Trump appeared to have two major strategies in mind 1) keep bringing up Hunter Biden at every opportunity because the MSM never even mentions it. 2.) Make Biden either disavow or embrace the far left Democratic platform.
I thought he did a pretty good job in both cases. Is the MSM now going to fact check the Hunter Biden story or just continue to pretend it's nothing? I'm guessing the latter. As for item #2, I'm already hearing some rumblings from progressives so that appears to have worked to some extent.
