I do have a couple of comments that make it even more interesting in the current situation:

1. You don't have to be a Christian just because you aren't a leftist. I'm not a Christian. I'm also not a conservative; I'm an anarcho-capitalist.
2. That letter is from almost 4 years ago. I'm sure there are millions more people with similar feelings now, since it is obvious at this point that "liberals" such as the ones she is referring to are not just shallow but actively hostile to American society.
