Very clever post title. Prescient.

It is clever but I can't claim credit for it. It's been around for a year or two at least, ever since "wokeness" became a thing.Mountaineer wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 3:12 pm.Libertarian666 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 2:27 pm https://nypost.com/2020/06/21/defund-na ... talladega/

I told the wife no more gillette and never again once that "ad" came out. I won't support the attack on 50% of the population.MangoMan wrote: ↑Tue Jul 28, 2020 4:09 pm Not surprisingly, % market share of razor blade sales plummeted after Gillette's toxic masculinity ad.![]()

You there, Ephialtes. May you live forever.
Re: Get woke, go broke
Don't see any "rage," nor "sensitivity," for that matter. Just an unwillingness to subsidize the leftist agenda.
FWIW, this one comes straight out of the Leftist playbook.
Is it one or the other?Sure beats rioting in the streets.
Re: Get woke, go broke
I see sophistry.
And the answer to the 2nd question "both".
Re: Get woke, go broke
When I see football players kneeling during the national anthem it speaks to me of weakness and helplessness. If I was a player on the other side of the field I'd be saying "look at those pansies".
I would suggest raising a finger or a black power sign (is that still a thing), or simply turning your back. That would be much bolder and better at getting your point across.

I'm not offended by their opinion. I'm offended they think anyone cares about their opinion.pp4me wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 7:37 pm When I see football players kneeling during the national anthem it speaks to me of weakness and helplessness. Just shut up and catch the ball moron. Run with the ball or hit someone else who has the ball Einstein.

I think what you're describing is in progress now. Here's a sign - the other day I heard an interview with Democrat strategist James Carville, the Ragin' Cajun. He was raging against the woke movement and how out of control it has become. Personally I think it will burn itself out as another fad of the time.
Whether conservative or liberal, it seems like many ideas start out somewhat reasonable and then they embark on a trajectory leading further and further from center until eventually dying in the absurd zone.
