Hmm, that is strange, because I was certainly not logged in. Have not logged in for months.

Oh, you're right. Good thing I took a couple of screenshots.

Here's one:

EDIT: changed to the top one, so it makes sense.

Just another example of how toxic and bizarre the Bogleheads forum is becoming IMHO.

Larry was right to leave.

So one Internet troll posting a repugnant question before it's caught and removed by a moderator means the entire Bogleheads forum is "melting down"?

Nah, I saw lots of threads that would normally be deleted that weren't even locked. That was the craziest one, so I had the energy to post it.
Hey, I'm not a documentarian doing a whole exposé on them. And I did find them useful once upon a time.
I just assumed that, like with a lot of organizations, they were too busy with virus-life stuff, especially since moderating forums is voluntary, a labor of love.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the mods over there are overworked.

And, they are all volunteers with all the extra things now they have to deal with in their lives, same as all the rest of us.

One thread discussing when the right time to invest spare money. I opined that it sure sounded like "market timing". I was ignored.......................

What happened to stay the course with the BH's?

Variety of voices, I guess.

I neglected to post the other screenshot. Note the snarky response from the OP at the top -- I can picture kriegs getting a laugh out of this. And, the expected comment at the bottom, "I'm 68." That's the guy I feel for.

No, that's only if you are thinking of getting out of stocks.
They never tell people not to buy more stocks.
