I’m planning to HODL the entire position till I reach my retirement number. After that I’ll switch back to a more risk parity or PP-esque strategy.

Don't forget there are important breakpoints before your retirement number. For example, there is a number at which you'll never have to worry about being homeless again. It seems prudent to cover your downside such that you don't have to worry about this risk, assuming you've accumulated this much.
