Anyone know a place to buy gold coins in NYC or close by that doesn't have a high mark up on the Eagles? Found some in CT at 6.5% over spot. A bit steep, no?

Thanks.

PS. No gold coins in my freezer either!

I wouldn't pay more than 5% over spot for any precious metal products. If the premium is that high look for something cheaper or just wait a little while. Remember you are paying for gold, not the art work. Krugerrands are usually a bit lower in mark up and small bars are perfectly fine too.
