First Quarter Looking Positive

Post by portart »

Looks like PP is doing what it's advertised to do. Last year with PP being basically flat to down a little, I am up 5.97 YTD. It's holding it's value and now moving up in a relatively tired stock market.  Getting a nice charge out of long term bonds and gold rtfs overcoming stocks enough to make nice gains early in the year. Let's see how it plays out. If we can get back up to 1700 gold (thinking positive of course) and it looks like rates stay down to avoid destroying the stock market, bonds can also make more gains w/interest, it could be nice 12% to 15% gain for PP this year. Of course, the best part is you don't have to guess. If nothing good happens, you are not going to lose your savings in a storm of heavy losses.

We can thank Russia and President Putin for almost 6 percent gain (just kidding).
