Looking on the bright side, at least they didn't shoot the family dog too.

Trumpism is not a philosophy or a movement. It's a cult.

It's pretty sad that you have to teach your kids to not only never blindly open the door, but to treat a visit by the police the same as you would blatant murderers or rapists. I plan to teach my children to react to police at our door the same way they would if they saw a blood covered lunatic with an axe, run and hide somewhere if I'm not home, come get me immediately if I am and make sure I'm aware of the seriousness of the situation. Opening the door in either situation can get you killed. That's not to say that the cops won't burst down the door and hunt my children down anyway, but if they're hiding under a bed one would hope it makes an "incident" less likely.
Frankly I'd much prefer the blood drenched axe murderer.

At least if you shot and killed the axe murderer half the state employees wouldn't get a paid day off.RuralEngineer wrote: It's pretty sad that you have to teach your kids to not only never blindly open the door, but to treat a visit by the police the same as you would blatant murderers or rapists.
