I tend to watch with it muted until Mandy comes on around noon. Something about a hawt Aussie talking finance.

you mean reading the teleprompter. I don't think she knows enough about finance to string two sentences together about it on her own.... That assessment goes for the rest of the staff as well. Also, you'd be amazed what tricks the camera plays with peoples looks.

Yes I love the camera. Thank God for the teleprompter. I mean....imagine Obama without it?

The only difference between Obama and Bush is that Obama can actually read what is written on the teleprompter whereas Bush was probably operating at a 4th grade reading level.

I think Bush bombed fewer countries and also was a lot better for comedy.

That's probably because Bush has degrees from Yale AND Harvard, while Obama only has degrees from Harvard.

I love that nervous tick that Maria B. has where any hint of dead air will cause her to start talking about "the money on the sidelines."

I always want to throw a brick at the TV and say: "Maria!  There is no such thing as money on the sidelines!  Money is always on one field or another!"

CNBC is full of statist liberal propaganda but for some reason it doesn't irk me as much as much as Fox's hypocrisy. I can't take the pretend libertarianism. I'd rather listen to Marx or Krugman than O'reilly or Hannity.

I used to be a fan of the FOX infobabes but they really seem dense. I like the CNBC ones even though they're a little older. I've dated some older women though so maybe that's just me........

I just did about 30 min of research and it's still a tough call. Mandy has degrees in French and Japanese and Becky in Poly Science so I'll have to go with M. I like that Becky is a morning gal but can't have it all I guess.

I don't get to watch CNBC during the day but sometimes I get sucked into their greed/scam shows in the evenings.  And I enjoy The Profit when I can catch it.

As for Fox, I kinda like Megyn Kelly... she's hot when she's bothered.  ;D  Hannity is a joke though, way too over the top.  O'Reilly defines the word "pompous".

Fox Business can be interesting sometimes.  Their new show The Independents hasn't been too bad.  Stossel is barely okay, I think he's way past his prime.

Sometimes I tune into MSNBC briefly to see how the crazy half lives.  (Don't get me wrong, I realize both "halves" are crazy...)

"Hannity is my LEAST favorite journalist ever.  I cannot be in the same room with that voice or face.  Just can't do it.  Horrible."

He happens to be my favorite over there. Strong, unrelenting, unafraid.

I know I mentioned Hannity. I am deeply sorry. Anyone have an opinion on the CNBC babes?

Maria is gone. She left about 2 weeks ago. I would bet that she ends up on Fox.

I don't know how this thread went from CNBC to MSNBC but I gotta say my dream celebrity boxing match would be Rachel Maddow vs. Tonya Harding.  Would that sell on pay per view??

I used to watch it a little bit but I'm often in conference calls so I just watch CNBC on mute until Mandy comes on. I like the bazillion ticker symbols and prices on CNBC.

MSNBC, where the men are men, and so are the women.
No, I think their motto is "MSNBC, where the women are men, and the men are women".

I think they're trying to carve out a niche by appealing to a certain type like everyone else. Their target would be so-called femenists, african americans (I don't know the PC term currently) guys with "white guilt" and communist/authoritarians.

I felt an amazing sense of liberation when I realized that everything on TV is entertainment.
