I just meant that sometimes people (not you) get very worked up over things that are ultimately pretty abstract and far removed from their own lives. 

If you slept through this Obamacare funding, debt ceiling, government shutdown drama, you probably wouldn't be missing much (unless you were a government employee, contractor or heavy user of federal government services).

I agree.  I only get worked up over how the PP is doing on an hourly basis :-)
