Any HB-like podcasts
I really liked listening to the old HB podcasts, both finance and politics. I think I liked them especially because of his positive spin on everything and kinda calming voice. Are there any other economics, finance, politics podcasts that are similar to HB's and not just in content and perspective, but also in style?

I enjoy the Freakonomics Radio podcasts, and the Planet Money podcasts.
There are some sporadic podcasts from Tim Harford, the latest being Pop-Up Ideas.
All of these are free on iTunes.
There is little to no politics in these, at least for the time I have been listening.

Is "Planet Money" the thing that's on NPR with a similar name? If so, they are woefully ignorant about gold, whether for political reasons or otherwise. They had a segment when they went to buy a gold coin but weren't sure exactly what it was they were buying(!).SteveGo wrote: I enjoy the Freakonomics Radio podcasts, and the Planet Money podcasts.

There's a British guy here at gyro (Jake?) who had some fun podcasts about gold and the permanent portfolio. He had an avatar of DeNiro as the duct cleaner in the film Brazil. I can't remember the podcast name, but maybe he'll see this and post a link.
I like Planet Money as well. Not pp, but a wide range of topics is covered.

It's great!
Human behavior is economic behavior. The particulars may vary, but competition for limited resources remains a constant.
