Locking Obamacare Thread

Post by moda0306 »

Am I the only one wondering why it was locked?

I didn't have any sort of combative tone, and I was poking fun at myself for using the spellng "ludacris."

I didn't think anyone's comments were out of sorts in the least.

Craig, I think you may have misinterpreted there being some sort of escalation in that thread.  Even Benko's comment was 95% harmless, IMO.
"Men did not make the earth. It is the value of the improvements only, and not the earth itself, that is individual property. Every proprietor owes to the community a ground rent for the land which he holds."

Kind of a shame...  I didn't see things going that direction.  I was actually hoping to hear from doodle about it!  (Even though I disagree with him on most things.)  The point was that the "cliffs" seemed to me to be invoking doodle's future re: people's working hours.

Maybe he meant to lock that absurd thread on inherent value and missed?
Human behavior is economic behavior. The particulars may vary, but competition for limited resources remains a constant.

The tone of the thread seemed to be going downhill.

Tex and I don't have enough time to read every thread. We need people to be civil. My flame war detector alarm activated.

Craig,

I really think you may have misinterpreted a couple posts.  Not that I blame you. You have a tough job and can't be super thorough.

That said, any chance you could unlock it?

It's unlocked. I get the feeling I'll regret this…but on the positive side after everyone is bloodied in the resulting e-fight they'll at least have some ObamaCare to fix them all up.
