doesn't the word atheism commonly cover both definitions?
i think i remember some recognizable atheist even coming up with a number scale ranging from  "believing there is no god" with degrees of belief, to absence of belief, (and on up to to theist)
-Government 2020+ - a BANANA REPUBLIC - if you can keep it

-Belief is the death of intelligence. As soon as one believes a doctrine of any sort, or assumes certitude, one stops thinking about that aspect of existence

I always figured that everyone was an atheist to one degree or another.

There are the pure atheists who believe that all religions are man made and that all deities are simply projections of an idea that many misguided people find soothing, and then there are the religious atheists who believe that all religions but their own are man made and that all of the deities but their own are simply projections of an idea that many misguided people find soothing.
Q: “Do you have funny shaped balloons?”
A: “Not unless round is funny.”

Oh my.

Nicely put.
"Men did not make the earth. It is the value of the improvements only, and not the earth itself, that is individual property. Every proprietor owes to the community a ground rent for the land which he holds."
