LOL  I have always tended to view charts as a means of predicting the future with a great deal of skepticism. It seems like a modern form of divination or casting chicken bones. But there are people who live and die by them. And if you get enough people to subscribe to a popular prophesy, it can become self fulfilling.

IMO. The only way to really do these kinds of things if one is interested is with strict rebalancing bands and stop limits. But that plays into a lot of human emotions and drives up costs. And long-term I doubt it would work better than just buying and holding…

BUT, this is the Variable Portfolio section so I try not to come in here too often and rain on anyone's parade with my cold hard dose of reality party pooping!
