A Nice Website That Won't Upset You

"The Browser" has become one of my favorite websites.

It serves up interesting long-form pieces from different media outlets covering many topics.

I rarely read a piece on this website that leaves me feeling anxious, upset or frustrated.

If you are looking for some interesting reading from time to time, I recommend this site as a place to look.

If you have a tablet, e-reader, or smartphone, I highly recommend Instapaper.  Various volunteer editors scour the web for interesting stories and articles, and your electronic reading device downloads the complete articles, with no ads, and formats them nicely for your screen.

You can launch Instapaper in the morning when you wake up, and it will download a ton of interesting articles for you to read when you are out and about, without having to worry about a network connection (offline reading).

Also, you can install a little bookmarklet in your browser so if you find an interesting article on the web, but you'd rather read it on your Kindle or iPad, just click the bookmarklet and it will be downloaded to your device the next time you load Instapaper.
