Anyone ever ponder why the left gets all crazy, but the right puts on silly clothes to riot?
Maybe the right needs to get a little crazy...

Re: Riots
I think that the more property you own, the more the idea of destroying property bothers you.
It may be just that simple.

Re: Riots
Not just property ownership, but The System in general. The right seems to be much more likely to support The System--whatever it may happen to be and do--whereas the left is more likely to support destroying it, again, whatever it is or does.
I think it would be a very bad idea for the right to get a little bit crazy, because collectively the right has a lot of guns and experience in the military and law enforcement, and the possibility of those people getting a little crazy would terrify all the wrong people who would try to preemptively hurt them them and get shot for it. It could trigger some very, very ugly events. There are many on the far right who are just waiting for something like this to happen, and unlike the fools on the far left who are as well, the ones on the right would win quickly and easily due to their superior firepower, combat skills, organization, discipline, and tendencies toward order and hierarchy.

Human behavior is economic behavior. The particulars may vary, but competition for limited resources remains a constant.

If you have nothing to lose, it's a lot easier to lose it.
However, there's a chicken/egg thing here. People who are sleazy enough to take joy in destroying property aren't going to be able to build much of their own in their lifetime for all the obvious reasons.

They could always go to work for a like-minded entity such as the government.moda0306 wrote: People who are sleazy enough to take joy in destroying property aren't going to be able to build much of their own in their lifetime for all the obvious reasons.
