Don't you think that deleting it makes it even harder to answer correctly?

I'm going to give it a shot, though.

My answer is "Rosebud."

If that's wrong, how about "Who is John Galt?"
Q: “Do you have funny shaped balloons?”

lol.
I was going to wait an hour and then suggest a "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" type answer since there is no clear and concrete answer. Besides, everyone's probably going home from work.
Then,  I found that I could not delete the Topic, only the post.
I'm trapped.  :)

Rosebud is wrong, but very creative.

I'm thinking the answer is UPS.  Or is it the Honda Odyssey?  Third base!

Is this something out of Hitchhiker's Guide?  We now know the answer, but how do we find out the question?

-Belief is the death of intelligence. As soon as one believes a doctrine of any sort, or assumes certitude, one stops thinking about that aspect of existence

Rowdy Roddy Piper!

Don't ask me how I knew, just sit there and be impressed.

That's good.

I ask me neighbors why  they live next door to me, and they tell me to obey, consume and submit.

I had no idea anyone else had actually seen that movie.  Definitely one of my guilty favorites!

Among this group here?

Come on.

Other than Craig, I imagine that all members here look like this:

I do, however, think that doodle is probably clean-shaven.

I can't go more than 3 days without shaving. (Can I insert a plug for Speick shaving soap here? It's the greatest).

By the way, the original trivia question was, What do MT's and Greg's (1V3STOR's) avatars have in common? It was more of a connect-the-dots, x degrees of separation challenge than a true trivia question, so I just tried to get rid of it.

MT = Bruce Campbell from Evil Dead movies.

Greg = Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man mask from Iron Man movies.

Robert Downey, Jr. was in Wonder Boys with Tobey Maguire.

Tobey Maguire was in the Spider Man films in which Bruce Campbell had different small roles.

Tobey Maguire is what they have in common.

Re: Trivia Question

Post by dualstow »

I had a feeling someone would come up with something better than the original answer.
What I had was Evil Dead was based on ideas from H.P. Lovecraft.
Black Sabbath's "Behind the Wall of Sleep" comes from Lovecraft's story, "Beyond the Wall of Sleep".
Black Sabbath, of course, wrote "Iron Man" a song which would eventually be used for Iron Man films.

For me, it was clear because I happened to be reading an old collection of  Lovecraft stories (on and off) and listening to the 1970 album while browsing this forum. (I'm not usually quite that "doomy". Really I'm not.  ;) ) But, the more I thought about, the more vague the connection seemed.

Let's just go with Toby Maguire. :-)
