England wants its guns back

I thought this was interesting.  I don't know too much about the blaze, and an online survey is obviously less scientific than other polling methods, but still food for thought.  It's hard to unring this particular bell.  I wish them luck.

They're a right-wing news site, and as such, any online poll they display that shows overwhelming support for a right-wing cause (even one I agree with!) is likely to need several very large grains of salt taken with it.
Human behavior is economic behavior. The particulars may vary, but competition for limited resources remains a constant.

The "poll" was online and open to anyone clicking onto the website of the Telegraph, which is one of Britain's main conservative papers. Over there they don't even pay lip service to journalistic neutrality. You pretty much know someone's politics by what paper(s) they read.

Anyway the poll is basically meaningless.

I want my pre-9/11 privacy back as well.

Like Mick Jagger said, you can't always get what you want.
Q: “Do you have funny shaped balloons?”
A: “Not unless round is funny.”

Yep that's the Telegraph, expect another poll proving support for the death penalty when sentencing of Lee Rigby's killers comes around.

However, don't expect to see any polls regarding media accountability, ownership. or tax arrangements.

Like Mick Jagger said, you can't always get what you want.
But if you try sometimes...
"Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is. "
