Sequester Scorecard

Post by MachineGhost »

A half-dozen NPR reporters spoke to Morning Edition about what they're seeing so far in the areas they cover. Here's a look at some things we do know, a month into sequestration:

One thing I'm convinced about Obama is that he is a sociopath. I think most of our presidents exhibit this to one degree or another but I think Obama is second in line in my lifetime only to Richard Nixon.

How do you figure that?  To me, Obama is just a Progressive and acts accordingly, no more, no less.  On the other hand, Nixon was truly the devil!

Being a progressive explains some of his acts, but not all (e.g. foreign policy).  If you assume that the results of Obamas actions are what he wanted, it makes more sense to think of him as a anti-colonialist. Read Obama's America by D'souza.  e.g. pg 175 "Obama is getting precisely the results he wants.  He is attempting to get rid of American allies in Egypt and several other countries...He is trying to conserve anti-american regimes in Syria and Iran"

(pg 178) "Obamas actions are totally consistent with those of an anti-colonialist who considers America to be the global oppressor that needs to be cut down to size"

No need to believe the book, look and what Obama does and says, and the results he gets.

While these anti-colonial ideas are around to some extent in many progressives, they were instilled during Obamas upbringing if you read what his father/mother/upbringing was like.  This is why he is very different from the usual progressive/other alinskites e.g. Clintons
It was good being the party of Robin Hood. Until they morphed into the Sheriff of Nottingham

Getting back to the sequester scorecard, so far the Obama has turned away thousands of Medicare patients with cancer who need treatment and threatened to close about 150 airport towers (although he has delayed this due to I believe union pressure) while at the same time announcing 100 million dollars to study "the brain" and another 100 million dollars to "lasso" meteors and walk on them. A rather odd use of our resources you might think.
