FREE Yale courses on-line

Post by BP »

Stumbled on this the other day.  I am starting Robert Shiller's Financial Markets course.  I am on lecture four.  Good basic refresher so far.

Anyone else find any similar free education courses for folks with an interest in economics and finance?

MIT has free courses as well.  Check out their offerings at Sloan School on Management and under the category Economics:

Thank you for posting this. I'm watching the Shiller lecture on probability now.
Like some TED lectures, it has a clickable transcript.

How cool is that that we can sit in comfort and watch these lectures for free. In the 1880s, I guess you had to make your way to Leipzig or someplace to hear this stuff.

I have used iTunes U a lot over the past year or two, probably on the order of 100 hours of video courses.  Love it as I can download and watch on my iPad or iPhone on the airplane.  Makes a coast-to-coast trip pass quickly.
