Life In Russia As Recorded on a Dashcam

Post by MediumTex »

This four minute Jon Stewart clip about the Russian meteor strike captured on dash cams around the country is pretty funny.

LINK

In addition to the apparently unimpressive 10 ton meteor exploding in the atmosphere (the driver in the car didn't even say anything about it), there are other common scenes from Russian life, including a confrontation between a bat wielding driver and a hatchet wielding driver, a woman tearing a car apart with her bare hands, a tank suddenly driving across the highway, and a truckload of cows spilling out in front of one Russian driver.

You will laugh (unless you're Russian, in which case you will probably find it unimpressive).

Somewhat offtopic but chrome is blocking me from going on NBC. Apparently they have been dishing out malware for hours due to a hack.

The cow tipping truck was hilarious.  The cows just stand up, unfazed, after the truck transporting them (

The funniest was the cow tipping truck.  The cows just stand up, totally unfazed, after the truck transporting them (to the slaughterhouse?) overturns and spills them onto the highway.

One of the news shows reported that there is a show on Russian TV made up of these dashcam videos.  Someone would get rich bringing it (in translation, of course) to the American market.  That would give me another silly TV show to watch as a guilty pleasure.
