(VTI, TLT, SGOL and SHY)

YTD: 5.61%, One Year: 4.53%

Reporting from Schwab Portfolio Analysis Tab.  Is this in-line with what everyone else is seeing?
Schwab says it's unaffected by timing, deposits, etc...  Don't really understand how they come up with that, but I'm a writer, not a mathematician.  That's what I rely on you guys for.  ;)

Here's what I see on Morningstar as of this evening, tracking IAU instead of SGOL, though I would think those would be pretty close to the same.

P.S. - I don't trust these charts at all. I started with 100k in each fund on Jan. 1 and the market value of SHY is now below 100k but it's UP .19%? There is either something I don't understand about the figures or they are wrong.

4x25% using VTI TLT SCHO IAU ytd 4.95% excluding reinvested dividends. If you add in the dividends I figure we are around 6%.
