Excuse the bond-newbie question: are Treasury bonds divisible?
For example, if I buy a $10,000 of Treasury bond through broker, can I later sell $5,000 of it? Or would I need to sell the whole 10k bond and then buy a different 5k bond as two separate transactions?

Re: Are bonds divisible?
It looks like through Fidelity at least you can sell $1000 blocks each. I went through Fidelity and it looks like you can. It also looks like foglifter called up Fidelity to double-check and said you can. Here's the thread where he wrote that.
