Congressmen Seek To Lift Propaganda Ban

An amendment that would legalize the use of propaganda on American audiences is being inserted into the latest defense authorization bill, BuzzFeed has learned.

The amendment would “strike the current ban on domestic dissemination”? of propaganda material produced by the State Department and the independent Broadcasting Board of Governors, according to the summary of the law at the House Rules Committee's official website.

the fact that they hit the nail on the head with many of there descriptions of western propaganda while still managing to produce a N Korean propaganda piece is amazing

The unasked and unanswered question is why North Koreans don't see the exact same behavior in their own government.

that's exactly why i found it so fun and amazing, it is very "meta" and convoluted to have a propaganda piece about propaganda that is inherently self referential, i love the way it makes the mind spin trying to figure out how their people don't see it, and their government can use the very same techniques in the video that describes how its done by the west....
