Upcoming Celestial Events

I thought it might be fun to keep tabs on upcoming celestial events.

Tonight we are expecting a "Supermoon" where we get a full moon combined with the closest approach the moon makes in its orbit.  It is supposed to peak at 11:35 PM Eastern.  Also they are expecting a meteor shower from Halley's Comet.  

I'll be out there to have a gander.
