I Need A Quality Cordless Drill

Post by Coffee »

Can anybody recommend a quality cordless drill?

I'm using my Ryobi to build raised bed gardens for my Square Foot Gardening experiment with backyard food production... and it just doesn't have the horsepower.  It's having trouble punching drain holes in 3/4" plywood.  LOL.

Thanks.

Take a look at Festool if you have the cash.

I upgraded from Ryobi to a Hitachi with lithium batteries. I love it. It's got good battery life and very lightweight, yet sturdy. I still have a couple of different Ryobi models, but they're not going to get any more use unless I'm doing something that may damage them. 8)

I haven't used the Hitachi for anything serious yet though. I have a couple of doorknob holes to drill this week. Maybe I should do those before making a serious claim.
