LTRO is the new QE

Gumby, I didn't mean to say that they crash things in the short term. Sorry if it came across as that. I was only saying what you are saying everyone already knows. I was highlighting that over the course of 2011, the SP500 zig zagging 5000 points to end up in the same place was the kind of lucrative gyration that the (intermittent) liquidity injections provide.

I am starting to think stone and Gumby are Jules and Vic Vega... never truly break out into a TRUE fight but are always in half argument mode.
Ok, I'm done with PF comparisons.

Sorry Gumby, I didn't mean to be argumentative. I think I was agreeing with you but somehow managed to express it in an argumentative way

I actually love conversing with Stone. It's always in good fun. I just don't understand why he always makes a point of disagreeing about the slightest things when we agree about 99% of the topics we talk about

If I told Stone that a Quarter Pounder with Cheese was called a "Royale with Cheese" in France, he would probably say, "Gumby, isn't it actually called a 'Royale Cheese'?" He'd be right of course!

You know what the ironic part of all these analogistic comparisons are??
Jules debates the same thing in Pulp Fiction with his prayer he says before he kills people.
It's like we've discovered the 4th dimension or learned how to divide by zero or something in here.

I think MT and craigr should sell official PP/PF merchandise — starting with this wallet for our emergency cash allocation:

I was thinking more along the lines of a Harry Browne lunchbox.Gumby wrote: I think MT and craigr should sell official PP/PF merchandise — starting with this wallet for our emergency cash allocation:

I did once know a fellow who had one of those country and western belts with your name on the back, except instead of his name it said "You Suck". I might enjoy wearing one of those to an investment advisors' conference if I could find a nice Harry Browne belt buckle to go with it.

I completely misread the title of this thread. I was expecting this:
