GTU

Post by Wonk »

For what it's worth, GTU is at a .6% premium to net asset value.  That represents a smaller spread than what you can get on coins.

I haven't seen the premium this low since I started watching the fund about a year ago.  A premium of 4-6% has been about average.  For those looking to migrate to the PP and are looking for a gold option, I think GTU is currently a very attractive vehicle.

The GTU premium is now negative.

It's hiding in plain sight for anyone who is interested.

What's wrong with GTU performance in general? Right now, GLD is +0.55% and GTU is +0.19%.

I think PHYS is probably getting some of the action that GTU used to get.

Over time, I'm sure it will all even out, but right now may be a good GTU buying opportunity.
